Pearl Grey finished lame when last seen when second in the Cherry Hinton and with a doubt concerning her fitness Godolphin's filly is probably best watched so preference is for Ruby Rocket, who gets the nod over Goldeva. The selection lost no caste in defeat behind subsequent Sprint Cup winner Tante Rose at York prior to finishing a creditable third in a Listed race at Leopardstown. Given a break since then she looks worth a bet to gain a deserved success in this grade. Goldeva has claims on her best but that is all when there has been cut in the ground so unless the rains come she looks worth opposing. Tychy was highly tried last time and this looks to be more her level but the Stuart Williams-trained mare has been done few favours with the draw. Simianna has the best of the draw in stall one but is normally held up so may not be able to take advantage of her rails pitch and of more interest may be Chris Wall's Paradise Isle, who comes into this in better form than most. She to has a tough draw top overcome though and the vote goes to Ruby Rocket, whose hold up style of racing should not be inconvenienced by a berth in stall nine.
