        Verdict

Persian Conqueror could be the one to be on here, with The Spread and Overlook the likely dangers. John Dunlop's runners generally need a couple of outings to get straight and Persian Conqueror looked to be on the way back last time. He took a while to get going but eventually stayed on well to finish fourth behind Leo McGarry. With more use made of him this afternoon he should go close. The Spread is dropping down the weights and stepping up in distance and could get into the places. Meanwhile Overlook is also bred to be better over this type of trip and can go well despite top-weight. This is a very poor contest and it would be no surprise to see the disappointing Suzuki and Rockatorri take a hand in the finish as well, but our idea of the winner is Persian Conqueror.
