Raphoola is likely to start a warm order for this weak juvenile contest, on her first start for Mark Johnston; she is hard to oppose, with Blackmoll and Moscow Mary the most likely to chase her home. Raphoola started her career under Nigel Tinkler's stewardship, and first showed ability on her second start at Nottingham at odds of 50/1. She showed plenty of speed on that occasion and again on her only subsequent start, when third in claiming company at Thirsk. She was claimed after that race and has now moved to Mark Johnston, and with Darryll Holland taking over the reins she is fancied to make all here. Moscow Mary was five lengths behind the selection on her debut at Nottingham, but arguably ran better when unplaced in a decent maiden at Windsor last time, and may at least get a bit closer to her this time. Blackmoll ran quite well on her debut when fourth at Doncaster's opening meeting and although she has failed to progress on that in two subsequent starts, David Evans' filly would still have claims of landing some prize money in this moderate seller.
