This race has been won by some very smart horses in recent years and it's well worth taking a note of the winner. There's not a great deal of Rules form to go on but a number have been busy in Points and MINELLA FOUR STAR appeals as one from that field that could make an impact. Others to note include Ballinderry Park, Pride Of Dulcote and Little Josh. Alan King's runner was an impressive winner at Templemore on his third start between the flags and is bred to make up into a useful stayer over hurdles and fences. Ballinderry Park narrowly won his sole start in points before changing hands for 42,000 guineas and would enter calculations if the market were to give out the right signals. Pride Of Dulcote has had a few chances but there was plenty to like about his defeat behind Lodge Lane at Perth in April where he appeared to see out this trip well enough. Little Josh is another to have shown form under Rules, winning bumpers at Hexham and Stratford but the form isn't exceptional and he may just lack the class of one or two of these if recent winners of this race are anything to go by. The market is well worth a check prior to refining your selection but it would be no surprise to see Minella Four Star featuring towards the head of affairs.
