DUCKWORTH LEWIS is given a tentative nod to get the better of former stablemate Mr Ironman and Trading Up amongst others. Peveril Pride rates a mention as he comes into the race on the back of a decent effort but he has a poor strike rate and may have to settle for a minor role once again. Therefore, we'll leave him off the short-list in search of the winner and we have opted for Duckworth Lewis for many of the same reasons that Buck The Legend appeals in the preceding race. This one hasn't achieved as much over timber but he's operating at a more modest level and may be able to step up to the plate. Mr Ironman has his first run for a new yard that is capable of having him ready at the first time of asking. He's on a fair enough mark, is a winner over fences and has Liam Heard in the saddle but the market should provide the ultimate guide to his chance. Trading Up lost his way last season but he has slipped to a decent mark and is another with winning form to his name over fences. He sees out this trip well enough and is one of many with less than compelling claims that could get involved; the vote goes to one of them in Duckworth Lewis.
