        Verdict

        A desperately modest handicap to end matters with and Parkside Pursuit is given the most tentative of nods ahead of Cerulean Rose and Redwood Star. An infrequent winner, Parkside Pursuit dropped the heaviest of hints at Windsor that his turn wasn't too far away, and if he can be galvanised into an early lead this evening, he may prove a tough order to peg back. Cerulean Rose finished behind Parkside Pursuit running her usual game race. That said, the handicapper looks to have a firm grip upon her these days. Redwood Star hails from a yard that have just struck form. That was a decent run to win at Brighton given that she was some 3lb out of the handicap. Tonight she will be running off her highest ever mark but she will be suited by a strong pace early doors. Stagnite is another who will be up with the early pace. Indian Bazaar could not win when given the best of the draw at Beverley on his most recent start while Il Pranzo has become difficult to catch right. The veteran Parkside Pursuit is given one last chance to redeem his backers' patience in the nightcap.
