Verdict

John Dunlop's Lathaat has earned a rating of 77 after her three runs and the daughter of Dubai Destination has to be strongly considered in a weak looking maiden but she was disappointing at Leicester on her first attempt over a mile last month and looks worth taking on with the newcomer AMITY, who is preferred to Wise Up. The last mentioned ran promising on his debut at Newmarket in a better race than this last month before finding little inside the final furlong but the Barry Hills-trained colt should improve for that run so cannot be discounted. Ed Vaughan's Doyen filly Personified makes only limited appeal on her debut and of more interest may be George Baker's Ancient Greece, who stepped up from his debut effort when a fair sixth over 1m4f here last time and he should not mind the drop back in trip. Rod Millman's Dark Shines could be of interest on his first start but preference is for another newcomer, Amity. Mark Johnston's filly makes plenty of appeal on pedigree being by Nayef out of a Night Shift mare and it would come as no surprise to see her make a winning debut.
