Strawberry Fair looks to have scared off most of the opposition although Cherubim and Game Dame look best of those still standing. Godolphin's return to form has been well documented but the fact that they were prepared to take this filly from David Loder's yard in spite of a modest run at Newmarket last September suggests that she is probably a lot better than her bare racecourse form suggests. Enough was thought of Game Dame to put her in as favourite against Brunel at Salisbury last term. Cherubim backers will be seeing how Dami gets on earlier in the card before placing their wagers. The Punctilious form certainly is eye-popping on this occasion but has she trained on? Cantarna had bits of pieces of form in Ireland and ran well for John Mackie at Haydock. The yard are firing out winners and she could be the answer if the market principals fail to live up to expectations. Plenty of potential on view and we will hope that Strawberry Fair can cut the mustard.
