A chance is taken on the returning OLYNARD ahead of Mattamia and Hajoum. Ralph Beckett's gelding flopped on his last start in 2009 but he had previously looked progressive at Windsor. He may be better over another furlong but he acts on this ground and is hard to ignore. Mattamia should come on for his reappearance at Nottingham on soft ground ans is not to be dismissed lightly, Tony The Tap is a course and distance winner and is interesting despite a lifetime high mark of 94, whilst Abraham Lincoln wasn't a cheap purchase and will win at some point this year so watch the betting closely. Hajoum's effort at Kempton behind Fullandby reads well, Captain Carey is a sprinter in form and is not ignored off a 4lb higher mark for his Wolverhampton win, whilst Our Piccadilly could run well at a price. A competitive sprint with the vote going to Olynard.
