In a poor finale it maybe worth taking a chance with Oliver Sherwood's Secret Drinker. The son of Husyan has been in consistent form recently, goes well under testing conditions and is not badly treated. He has more solid claims than Over Zealous and Our Jolly Swagman, who are closely matched on running over course and distance last month. Both have risen steeply in the weights since then and have more to do here. Topweight Bay Island has yet to prove he is fully effective on ground as soft as this, Dunnicks View tends to find at least one too good, while Pettree and Auburn Spirit are unreliable.
