Verdict

Tossapenny and Samburu Shujaa have but had enough runs to earn a handicap mark. They are only separated by a pound and set a decent standard but it’s not hard to imagine that at least one of their less-exposed rivals will prove superior. KATESON was a real force in bumpers last season and saved his best until last in a Grade 2 at Aintree in April, form which could be advertised earlier on today’s card. If he takes to hurdles, Tom Lacey’s grey would be hard to beat. Dashel Drasher could be another interesting hurdling debutant but has not encountered ground this quick before. Manvers House is also worth a second look and fitness is unlikely to be an issue for Casko D'Airy. Drumlee Watar has won a point and is preferred to Fortunes Hiding and the mare Illtellmema of the others.
