Verdict

There was plenty to like about Meep Meep’s run behind Posh Trish over a longer trip here last month but this maiden features some potentially useful recruits from bumpers. The Big Bite is one as he won at Lingfield and Huntingdon last season before finishing in mid-division in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham. HARAMBE was third in a Grade 2 at Aintree in April and is a half-brother to two winning jumpers so the switch to hurdles should see him in an even better light. Jammy George has also won a bumper but two runs over timber in Ireland were disappointing. Tedham can only improve on his fourth at Carlisle and Ebony Gale is definitely worth noting for future reference.
