Verdict

Amorously could only stay on at one pace over the track and trip last time and looks a few pounds high but Winterkoenigin, from an in-form yard, has been steadily improving and stays the trip though this is no easy handicap debut. Queen Constantine showed her best form with some give in the ground last time so any rain would aid her cause but St Ouen didn’t take to Polytrack last time after scoring on fast ground at Yarmouth. Ventura Bay is another who has done his best running on ground with plenty of give so in a tricky opener a chance is taken with SILKSTONE, a winner over 7f at Leicester and not disgraced in better company subsequently.
