In depth

Verdict

Unreliable horses mean tread with caution however something has to win and the pin comes down on Fun In The Sun. The selection has run well once in six starts; when the ground was on the soft side of good. With that in mind, David Evans' gelding may appreciate today's bog-like conditions. Dr Dream looks the main danger as he takes a marked drop in trip but he looked all at sea on soft ground last time out and has to prove himself on the ground. Geoff Huffer's newcomer Coppergirl wouldn't need to be anything special to make a winning debut, whilst Denton Hawk has had plenty of chances but does have the visor on for the first time. A vile affair, and the tentative vote goes to Fun In The Sun.
