Top Jaro gets the vote in this claimer ahead of What A Dancer and Master Of The Race. With the ground riding as testing as it is, best should be kept to a minimum but Top Jaro looks the best option. A winner two starts back, the selection has won on heavy ground before and shouldn't mind a battle in the mud. His prominent style of racing should ensure that he doesn't have too much ground to make up which is often a hard task in the mud, and with that in mind a big run can be expected. Seattle Robber and Tension Point represent Evan Williams and both should be respected although bot h may prefer better ground. What A Dancer should have come on for his recent outing and the ten-year-old could go well at a big price, however of more interest for backers may be Master Of The Race. Tom Dascombe's gelding has the blinkers on for the first time and whilst he is still a maiden, this son of Selkirk has shown an aptitude for soft ground in the past and could be a real danger today. However, we will return to Top Jaro who is a proven performer and can win again.
