In depth

Verdict

LADY MAKFI was eased down in the closing stages over 1m5f here last week and still won by 10 lengths. She has obvious claims despite a penalty. Thomas Blossom has been hurdling without success but was placed over 2m at Lingfield when last on the Flat. He makes most appeal of the rest given La Fritillaire was was well beaten on earlier attempts at today’s trip and the veteran King Olav is struggling at present.
