In depth

Verdict

It was soft ground when Incurs Four Faults went close at Hamilton last week while La Havrese recorded both of this year’s victories at Wolverhampton. John Caesar‘s only win to date came at the latter track in April and he was in front of the THE WEE BARRA when placed at Beverley last time. But the latter won on fast ground at Hamilton in May and gets a tentative vote to turn the tables on today’s surface. Alans Pride is another placed on the all-weather recently while Lucky Violet was second over 6f at Hamilton and steps back up in trip.
