        Verdict

        Handheld hasn't won for nearly two years now but went close to doing so under today's apprentice here last month and should give Liam Doran another good ride. The Dukkerer is a pretty consistent mare and has the assistance of Adam McNamara whilst We'll Shake Hands has been competing in higher grade and could well step up here as he drops into Class 6 company for the first time in his career. Free One gave the impression last time he just might improve for this first attempt at 1m2f but the choice is FIRST SARGEANT and Hollie Doyle, who has already steered home 11 winners this year. The gelding has taken considerable time to find form but his last two runs have been much more like it, he is not ground dependent and runs here off an 8lb lower mark than when last successful last 11 months ago.
