Verdict
Maths Prize and Naval Warfare, both well supported on debut in the Sandown maiden won by Larchmont Lad this month, came home second and fourth respectively. Both stayed on pleasingly in the closing stages and all will depend on their respective levels of progression in an above-average maiden for the track as they rate promising sorts from classy yards. NAVAL WARFARE may offer greater value and gets the nod especially if available at an each-way price. Our Boy has performed consistently but is likely to find one or two too good once again and whilst it was tempting to go along with Prerogative, this is the first time that the Hannon colt has tackled a seventh furlong and encountered ground with cut. If handling both, he'll be a tough opponent, having gone down by less than a length on his last three starts.
