This is another competitive handicap in which Bronze Dancer, McEldowney and Aleron are the leading lights with the vote given to Aleron. The selection is a course and distance winner and he scored impressively last time out when beating Lucayan Dancer at Hamilton. He was a good value for his win that day and we think he is worth staying on the right side of. Bronze Dancer was making his seasonal reappearance here when finishing a respectable second behind Oldenway. He is sure to come on for the run but he is not the most straightforward and for that reason he is narrowly passed over. McEldowney was disappointing last time at Newcastle when he was never travelling, but if that run were to be forgiven then he would have a leading chance. Leslingtaylor raced too keenly last time and is better than he showed that day, but for the winner we will stick with the game and consistent Aleron.
