Verdict

First Quest has disappointed since last year's maiden victory at Sandown and was beaten a long way when runner-up over 1m6f here last month. Burning Heat is still a maiden after 15 starts on the Flat and over hurdles though he's been placed on numerous occasions and should be winning soon. THE NEW PHARAOH won a better handicap than this at Doncaster on soft ground and hasn't performed badly in two subsequent starts so the fact that he's only 1lb higher should give him the edge. Clenymistra has only won at a lower level but Sellingallthetime is a standing dish around here and has dropped to a winnable mark so looks the main threat.
