Becky The Thatcher is 0-13 on the Flat but improved over hurdles last winter and has to be considered if ready after a long break. Jan Smuts is the only course and distance winner in the line-up but hasn't won on Turf since May of last year. IN FOCUS (NAP) couldn't quite hold off Question Of Faith on heavy going at Carlisle but the winner has defied a 3lb rise to complete a hat-trick so Dianne Sayer's charge looks to have a fine chance at the weights. Patent ran quite well at Redcar but is 0-15 while the three-year-old General Allenby has only had one run less without winning. La Bacouetteuse has won 11 times and was in top form at this time a year ago so shouldn't be dismissed despite moderate recent form.
