In depth

Verdict

Dream Rose, Dispol Isle and Imperial Lucky all have claims in a competitive finale but preference is for Linden's Lady, who is taken to make the most of the favourable terms. The selection is 3lbs lower than when chasing home Bollin Edward on good ground at Ayr last time and should do better back on a faster surface today. Hazelhurst is lightly raced and would have claims if fit enough for his return on a surface that should suit. My Princess faces no easy task giving weight away all round, while First Rhapsody has more to do than when scrambling home in a soft ground handicap here last time. Dream Rose lost no caste in defeat at Ayr last time and has to be considered along with David Barron's Dispol Isle, although he has a career high mark to defy following his success at Musselburgh. Imperial Lucky is another worthy of a mention but Linden's Lady is undoubtedly well handicapped and gets the nod.
