Dream Champion has been difficult to win with and Mick Channon's colt may again have to settle for a minor role once more with preference for Dayrose, who gets the vote ahead of Riodan. The last mentioned showed fair form in bumpers and lost no caste in defeat on his flat racing debut behind another good bumper recruit Alfie Flits at Thirsk last month. Her form is all on a softer surface though and John Quinn's filly may not be as effective on today's ground. True and Talisker Rock both need to improve considerably on all known form and the vote goes to Dayrose. Sir Michael Stoute's filly stepped up on her debut effort when finding just Novellara too good at Salisbury on her reappearance and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice.
