The Michael Dods' trained Toy Top is selected to maintain the yards fine run of form and achieve career win number six at the main expense of Rue Soleil, who holds the upper hand on the selection when one takes into account lengths and weights of their most recent clash while Jakeini is another worthy of consideration. Toy Top did not have the best of the draws at Thirsk as the pace was with the high numbers but too her credit she kept on gamely without ever looking as if she was going to get on terms with the leaders. She is attractively weighted on the best of her form and in a typically open sprint handicap at this venue, she is a speculative selection. Rue Soleil wavered under pressure in the closing stages at Thirsk and has failed to act on the track before. Jakeini will be suited by the stiff 5 furlongs here been a hold-up performer while the ease underfoot is also likely to suit. Spoof Master finds it difficult to get his head in front but is a contender for the placings once again. He is not as effective on the turf as the all-weather. Windjammer is one that catches the eye off his current rating, however, he will need to step up on what he has done this year. Toy Top gets the vote to land this handicap.
