A chronic seller that is not very appealing on the eye. Bijou Dan gets the nomination despite not meeting Court Of Appeal on attractive terms in this grade. A re-production of his second behind Annibale Caro, who added two further victories to that particular win, would see him go very close. However, like many in this grade, he does have a tendency to disappoint and is one-paced but he appeals as the most likely winner in a horror contest. Court Of Appeal is a real admirable veteran, who rarely fails to perform to the best of his ability. His sixth at York on Saturday is probably best forgotten as it turned into quite a messy contest, although that said, it was certainly a better event than this. He is always vulnerable to a rival with any amount of pace in the closing stages but one thing for certain is that he will battle. Muraco was the winner of a Lingfield handicap in August of last year and contested that previously mentioned York event on Saturday. Sent off an unconsidered 40-1 shot, he was beaten a long way out and faces a stiff task with Court Of Appeal on that basis. Ronsard's stable do well with their charges in these events but he has it all to do on recent form. Bijou Dan gets the vote to land this seller.
