Onatopp, Caluba and Red Barnet are the three to look at here, with Red Barnet taken to surprise some more experienced rivals. Onatopp has the best credentials here, but has finished second four times, been a beaten favourite twice, and was disappointing in handicap company last time. This is a poor contest, but Onatopp has failed when having other good opportunities and there is no reason to expect her to succed here. Caluba is taking a marked drop in trip here, after not getting home over nine furlongs at Musselburgh last time. Although her form figures are not impressive, she is taking a slight drop in class, and a bold showing would not be a surprise. Red Barnet was a complete outsider at Yarmouth on his debut, ridden by an apprentice, but he ran well holding every chance before weakening in the final furlong. The third in that race has won since, and with that experience under his belt, Red Barnet can upset some fancied rivals here, with any market move re-inforcing the selection.
