This is a wide open affair, with little worthwhile form to go on. Alabama Spirit gets the vote, ahead of the debutant Maahe and Drastic Measure. With so little solid form to go on, it would not take an exceptional type to score here, and Richard Fahey's two year olds are going well enough to suggest a good showing from Maahe, a daughter of Naamid, out of an Alzao mare. Any market confidence should be noted. Karl Burke's Alabama Spirit is worth a look. She wasn't beaten far in a similar contest on her Haydock bow, and with the stable's two-year-olds having a great season, she can be expected to improve for that and go well here. The second from that Haydock race has won since, while the third and fourth have also been placed subsequently. Sir Mark Prescott's juveniles have also been going well, so Drastic Measure should be considered. Her promising debut second saw her go off favourite at Salisbury next time, but she trailed home second last. She is best watched here. Alabama Spirit can step up on a promising debut and take this.
