DIVERTIMENTI returned to the turf with some aplomb last time and in a handicap that shouldn't take a great deal of winning can go one better ahead of Aqua Vittae and Soto. Having only found one too good in a race where the form looks solid the pick looks to have a pretty decent claim on the race. He's up a 1lb for that last run and while that is far from ideal in the context of this race it looks fair. Aqua Vittae has another couple of lbs removed after his third handicap start so should be seen to better effect and his pedigree also points to the fact he is under performing at present. Soto is inconsistent but if on a going day looks fairly treated while Real Diamond likes this track and off his last winning rating has to be considered. Redwater River is out of form but looks really well weighted on the pick of his runs but in another open looking contest Divertimenti can build on a decent run last time out.
