        Verdict

        It could be argued that Ravenfield is well treated on handicap debut but we prefer VERINCO while Raccoon is another for the list. A winner of a Ripon contest over this trip off a mark of 60 the pick showed improved for by only just missing out last time. He's up a couple of lbs for that effort and with the conditions returning to his optimum he has every chance. Ravenfield finished within a length of a horse rated 72 in a conditions racelast time and off a rating of 68 could be considered well-in while Raccoon is a former course and distance winner and is now 4lbs below his last winning mark. Bertie Southstreet will be interesting if fit enough on his return but will find life tougher back in these ranks so in a open little contest Verinco seems the form horse.
