Graham Island, Crathorne and Desert Stream look the three for the shortlist in this handicap and the vote is given to Graham Island. The selection was disappointing at Musselburgh last time when he raced far too keenly and finished last behind Swift Sailor. That was a better race than this and if they go a true gallop today he could be the one to be with. That effort last time was his seasonal reappearance so he is sure to come on for the run and his form last season would give him a leading chance here. Crathorne is back on the level after a good win over hurdles last time. He has been running well of late on the flat and it will be a surprise if he is not able to take some place money home this afternoon. Desert Stream was beaten a distance at Epsom last time when his jockey reported that he ran too free to post. His previous run had also been disappointing but he would have claims on the strength of a decent effort at Redcar when he was second behind Jaafi. He is from a top yard and is unexposed so is certainly one to note in the market. Football Crazy would have claims on the pick of his flat form and if he is fit enough to do himself justice after a break then he could make the frame. However, for the winner we will stick with Graham Island.
