EXECUTIVE'S HALL sets the standard after scoring a smooth success at Hexham last time when reverting to timber. He clearly relished being back over hurdles and has strong claims of following up off what looks to be a very workable mark. Trip and ground will suit. Danny John Boy and Winter Alchemy finished first and second at Wetherby last time and there should be little between them once again on these terms with stamina assured for both. They are joined on the shortlist by Bubbly Breeze who was backed into favouritism when runner-up at Kelso. The gelding came under pressure some way out that day but buckled down well and remains open to further improvement.
