Verdict

FINE LACE, a fair sort in modest company on the level, made a solid reappearance over timber when a staying-on third behind Glorybe in a similar Wetherby contest. She should benefit considerably from that outing and has good claims to get off the mark over hurdles here. Beat The Band has shown little since joining Lucinda Russell but showed too much promise in Irish bumpers to be written off in such an ordinary contest. The market should be instructive regarding her chance. Flora's Pride was backed into favouritism the last twice but disappointed on both occasions. Nevertheless, the Reveley charge remains of interest despite needing to step up, although a career record of 0-24 is offputting.
