In depth

Verdict

MAID IN MOSCOW is asked to concede plenty of weight all round but the mare is in splendid fettle at present and can complete an impressive 19-day hat-trick. Peter Buchanan was seen to good effect on the Irish raider at Sedgefield last time and the combination can defy a 7lb penalty. Bynack Mhor is interesting off a lowly weight as his yard is very adept at placing their charges and the gelding will go close if delivering his best, although he is very hard to catch right. Fourpointone is out of the handicap but his stamina is guaranteed over this marathon trip and merits a place on the shortlist.
