In depth

Verdict

College City is the one to be beat here, with his biggest rivals looking like Mikasa and Very Tasty. Despite falling last time -when he was in the process of running a big race - his two previous runs, when runner-up on each occasion, makes his mark of 87 reasonable, and certainly one that he can win from at this level. Very Tasty has won here over hurdles, which is a plus-point, although recent form isn't, but Mikasa has form enough to bag some money from his current rating and a 48-day absence should not be a hindrance. Finally, Spectrum Star has hinted at ability from his current mark, but it is hard to build a strong case for the others. Overall, then, once again, the vote goes to College City.
