Dargaville gets the confident vote with Dalriath and Petrolero rating the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Phar Out Phavorite last time out. That represents the strongest form on offer and he need only run up to that form to score. Dalriath rates the main danger on his latest third behind Woody Valentine but he has given the impression in the past that he would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason he is passed over. Petrolero is another worthy of respect on his latest second behind Bergerac but that was on very heavy ground and he would not want the ground to dry out to much if he is to score. Of the remainder Robert The Bruce is dropping in class and is from a shrewd yard so should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Dargaville.
