As Ei Ei only has one way of running there is sure to be plenty of pace on here and that may play to the strengths of Mister Chisum, who is preferred over Ichi Beau, Feanor and the frustrating Copplestone on these terms. The selection is a very game and consistent performer who appears to act on any ground. He is suited by racing on the back of a strong pace and should have the race run to suit. In contrast Ichi Beau, who made the most of a couple of soft opening for him earlier in the summer, is probably better over fences these days and will struggle to give weight away today; despite the ground being very much in his favour. Feanor seems to have improved out of all recognition of late but may find the likes of Mister Chisum having more relish for a battle than he cares for. Copplestone can never be relied upon to run two races the same and is for the brave only.
