Jimmy The Saint is preferred to the well regarded The Hollinwell, Skippers Lad and Chamerion are others to have shown ability. The Hollinwell has plenty of ability but he was very edgy on his debut and lost a lot of ground at the start and failed to go past when seemingly travelling best of all at Towcester. It may just be down to inexperience but he may be worth taking him on again. The selection ran a decent race at Kelso on debut in what appeared to be a fair race. He should come on for the experience and he has leading claims on that evidence. There should also be more to come from Skippers Lad and Chamerion whilst the market should point the way to the newcomers and needs to be monitored. At this stage of proceedings, we'll side with Jimmy The Saint.
