Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Our Jim, Minster Abbi and Bollin Ruth come into the race on the back of decent efforts but this could go the way of Supreme Builder. Ferdy Murphy's runner is on a potentially decent mark given the form that he showed in bumpers. He hasn't been all that fluent on any of his three starts over hurdles but he looks to be heading in the right direction judged by his latest effort over an inadequate trip at Newbury. Our Jim drops back in trip after a cosy success in a modest Hereford handicap but this should be a stiff enough test for him and he has leading claims. He appeals more than Minster Abbi despite the mare bouncing back to form last time as she looks high enough in the weights. Theatre Belle won with plenty in hand at Catterick but whether that performance was worthy of a 33lb rise is open to debate. Support for Delightfully would be of interest but Bollin Ruth has stronger claims despite having her stamina to prove. Stamina is Supreme Builder's strong suit and that could be enough to win the day.
