Equity Release is the selection to land this with Danny Zuko and Qanta De Thaix appearing the main dangers. Equity Release travelled very well in a decent contest at Newbury before coming to grief and leaving his highly regarded stable companion Or Bleu to come home in front. If none the worse for that fall he should take all the beating. His breeding suggests this quicker ground will pose no problems. Danny Zuko won a summer bumper at Uttoxeter and has to be respected from these quarters and around a course where they excel. The form of his bumper has not worked out though and he faces a stiff task on his hurdling debut. Qanta De Thaix is a winner around the french provinces and was well supported first time out. He will need to jump better here but recieves all the allowances. Red Admiral was highly rated on the flat but failed to jump with any great fluency on his hurdling debut last time. Blinkers are applied today and much more can be expected around a course that will suit. An interesting opener and Equity Release is nominated to land it.
