This is a wide open looking handicap in which we will give the vote to SHEKAN STAR with both Summercove and Kames Park worth noting. The selection has been catching the eye in similar contests of late and looks weighted to go close once again. His recent effort at Beverly suggests he still has the ability to win races and if he can recapture his best form he will not be too far away come the business end of the race. Summercove caught the eye when finishing third of thirteen at Killarney last time out. Connections have made the journey over the Irish Sea so any support in the market should be noted. Kames Park is never an easy horse to win with and has not done so since March of last year. He did however run well at Beverly last time out and having slipped down the weights to a favourable mark he warrants plenty of respect. Shekan Star has been a model of consistency this season and should be good enough to land a race of this nature.
