Rising Kheleyf made all when a narrow winner at Carlisle a month ago but Alan Swinbank's gelding struggled off his new mark at Beverley subsequently and is likely to do so again here in a race taken to go to LEGAL LEGACY, who gets the vote ahead of Kammaan. The last mentioned disappointed over a mile at Chester last time when she was unable to take advantage of a draw in stall one but the Michael Jarvis-trained filly had won well on a soft surface over seven furlongs at Newcastle previously and she has to be considered with conditions to suit and the stable in such good form. Richard Fahey's Fathey has run well in his last two starts but they have both been on fast ground and his form on a softer surface is not as good so he looks best watched. Spinners End has more to do off a 4lb higher mark than when successful for Karl Burke at Salisbury last time and looks best left out of calculations on his debut for Alan Jarvis. Bryan Smart's Inheritor has been running creditably of late and should be thereabouts but Legal Legacy is preferred. A winner of his last three starts, Michael Dods has his string in fine form now and, with ground conditions no problem, the son of Beat Hollow can defy the 8lb rise for his latest success.
