A wide open maiden handicap rounds off the card and as usual in these types of events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Rouge Et Noir, Fuss and Hope Sound and the tentative vote is given to Fuss. The selection was a fair third behind I Got Rhythm last time out which proves he stays this trip, that form has since been franked and of what looks a lenient mark he will be hard to beat. Rouge Et Noir rates the main danger on his latest second behind Let It Be but he has yet to prove he stays this far and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Hope Sound is another worthy of respect on his latest fifth behind Argentum as this looks easier but his yard are going through a quiet spell at present and he is passed over for that reason. Larking About is another that could go well on his best form but that has come on a much softer surface. Of the remainder Ton Chee has been in good form of late over hurdles and although he is out of the handicap he could go well at a big price in this desperate affair but for the winner we return to Fuss who at least ran well last time out.
