      Verdict

      Hartshead,Efidium and Irony are three against the field in this competitive handicap and the tentative vote is given to Efidium. The selection was a good second behind Redwood Rocks last time out the step up to this trip will suit and off the same mark here he will be hard to beat. Hartshead rates the main danger as she won well last time out when beating Goodbye Mr Bond. That form has since been franked and she will not be far away but she has a penalty for that win and that may just find her out and at likely odds she looks worth opposing. Irony is another worthy of respect as he showed he was returning to form when fourth behind Presumptive but he may need to drop in the weights a little more before he gets his head back in front. Riska King is another worthy of respect as he has dropped to a very lenient mark but he has shown very little of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Gifted Flame is from a yard in form and could run well at a price but in a tough race to call for thew winner we return to Efidium.
