The vote here goes to Sabbiosa, with her main dangers reckoned to be Queen's Dancer and Hidden Chance. The selection left last season's form behind when scoring at Bath on her seasonal return and a four-pound rise for that does not seem excessive. Also, given that her dam is a half-sister to the St Leger winner Snurge, the extra distance today should not inconvenience her, which seems to strengthen her hand and, accordingly, she gets our vote. Queen's Dancer has won two of her last three races, and is up five pounds for the latest of them. She is very game but that rise will not make life easy, although she still commands plenty of respect. It will be interesting to see how Hidden Chance fares at this three-furlong longer trip than for scoring in a claimer at Salisbury last time, a race that she was entitled to win on adjusted ratings. On breeding, it should suit, though, and she too is respected. Finally, the others seem to need to find improvement to feature, although Mink Mitten is another that should improve over this 10-furlong trip. However, Sabbiosa is the one that catches the eye and she is taken to score.
