It is very hard to be dogmatic in naming the winner here but , from a shortlist containing Caan, Charlie Delta, Johnny The Fish, Mister Benedictine, Tent and Dune Melody, we will side with Tent. The selection showed promise on his debut when fourth to Zato at Nottingham. Using that horse as a benchmark, he holds Caan on that form, and, with the stable's juveniles going well of late, he is entitled to go well. Caan's effort here behind Zato over a furlong shorter trip here last time certainly affords him respect, though, while Charlie Delta should be sharper for his seasonal return, as should Johnny The Fish, who was unplaced in what was probably a better event than this at Newbury last time. Mister Benedictine was pitched in at a deeper level than this on his debut, and is another that should be given consideration, while Dune Melody's fourth to Royal Engineer at Carlisle last time stands up to scrutiny in the context of this race. Overall, though, we will just side with Tent.
