A race that should take little winning and this appears a good opportunity for Notable Lady to open her account at the main expense of Heir Today while Yamato Pink is an interesting newcomer to note. The selection came to the races with a tall reputation on her debut at Newmarket earlier in the month and showed plenty of ability despite running green in the early stages. Neville Callaghan's charge showed plenty of pace to lead at halfway after a sluggish start but paid the price for her efforts and tired noticeably in the closing stages. The daughter of Victory Note will be all the sharper for the experience and should prove hard to catch if positive tactics are employed once again. Heir Today has shown only modest form to date at a lower level than the selection and looks likely to struggle to make an impact against a potentially useful rival. Karl Burke introduces an interesting newcomer in the shape of Yamato Pink who is out of a multiple juvenile winner and she wouldn't have to be out of the ordinary to figure at this level but Notable Lady sets a fair standard and should prove hard to beat.
