Verdict
Whazzis represents the best form on offer among those to have raced previously but the William Haggas-trained filly is proving to be expensive to follow and a chance is taken on the newcomer Manaal with Wilmington rated the best of the remainder. The selection is bred to be useful and represents the yard of Sir Michael Stoute that has introduced a few juvenile winners of late so could well be good enough to beat these. River Tarrant tackles a new trip for the first time but is not certain to stay this far, while Benllech has the advantage of experience over his rivals but has had plenty of chances. Luca Cumani's Sherjawy has shown only limited ability in three starts so far and of more interest may be Richard Hannon's Wilmington, who looks worth another chance over this trip. Manaal has a decent pedigree though and is taken to open his account at the first time of asking.
