Foxtrot Bravo has shown a consistent level of form in recent races over seven furlongs and a mile but is far from certain to appreciate the longer trip today and a better bet looks to be FILUN, who gets the vote over Vita Mia. The last mentioned looks the pick of the two runners in the race trainer by David Evans ahead of Little Sark having only had the one run this term and being entitled to improve for that reappearance effort at Lingfield but he needs to improve to trouble the selection. Tony Carroll's Lingfield winner Le Corvee struggled off his new mark at Bath last time and may still be a shade high in the weights, while Gay Kelleway's Starburst has been given a chance by the handicapper but needs to improve on recent form trouble the judge. The vote then goes the way of Tony Middleton's Filun, who has been running consistently well in recent starts and has solid claims of gaining a well deserved first success of the season racing off just a 2lb higher mark than when beaten a short-head by Dazzling Begum at Warwick last time.
