A poor contest to conclude the card and ITSHER is a confident choice to defy a 6lb penalty, while Halaak can chase her home. The selection romped home over four lengths clear here when running over 6f last time, and looked to have plenty in hand. The drop back in trip is not ideal given pedigree, but with nothing else in such good form she is very likely to have enough speed to go in again. Halaak has won over both this trip and 6f on the fibresand, but not yet done so in four starts on turf. David Simcock's filly looks in need of a drop in the weights before winning again and will find it tough against an in-form rival. Bees River remains a maiden after 13 starts and has not shown enough yet to convince she can win today, though money for her would make her more interesting. Pressed For Time has at least won twice at similar trips to this, though she has been out of sorts lately. Eddie Creighton will hope that first-time blinkers can bring her back to form but on balance we will oppose her with Itsher, who can win again.
